This is where you can read about, post details on and/or search for information regarding the interview process for all companies beginning with the letter "W."

Our mission here is very simple.
Think of this forum as a tool that puts a little more power in the hands of you the job applicant. You're already stressed out enough having to spend hours on job posting web sites like Careerbuilder and Monster, sending resumes, making follow up phone calls and overall, trying to impress hiring managers enough to give you a shot at your dream job.
All we're doing is "Secret Shopping" all those corporate hiring managers out there.
The feedback you post will be utilized by all who view it to motivate, not criticize. Ok, if you have a legitimate criticism, please feel free to voice your opinion however you see fit.

Company Name:
Who’s Calling?
Position:
Account Manager
Current status in the interview process:
6/15 – I called to follow up with HR and they informed me that they had filled the position. Next time I’ll need to brush up on my Quantum Physics and I should be a shoe in!
6/12 – Opened email and sat down to take the first of 4 modules in the online evaluation.
Part 1 - “The Achiever” was a survey that consisted of a variety of sections; some portions are timed and cover general knowledge and vocabulary, then there is also an untimed section containing a personality profile.
Part 2 – “The Aptitude Test” was a one hour, three-section logic and reasoning test. No calculators (how would they know?), only pencil and paper. She even attached some sample Aptitude test problems to review prior to taking the actual test. This was serious business!
Part 3 – “The Application” a basic how to contact, work history, school background kind of stuff.
Part 4 – “The PE1 Survey” was a survey that monitors attitudes regarding theft and drug use.
6/10 – Phone interview with a Recruiting Assistant. She explained that the position involved working with Auto Dealerships. Account Executives sell the account and the Account Manager trains, manages, upsells and maintains the dealership. One item of surprise is that she asked me if I was a smoker. Apparently they don’t hire employees who smoke either at or outside of work. After a lengthy discussion, she allowed me to proceed to the next round in the hiring process which was a battery of online tests designed to weed out those mere mortals without the mental capacity perform complex Calculus problems.
